Homebound Services
Are you homebound due to age or medical condition?
Do you love to read but are no longer able to commute to the library?
Now the South Pasadena Public Library can bring
the library to your door.
What is Home Delivery Service?
Home delivery is a convenient service that supplies books, large print books, audio books, DVDs, videos, and other library materials to people who are unable to use the library due to temporary or long-term physical and medical disabilities.
Library volunteers will deliver books to your home and pick them up when you are finished (once a month).
How Does this Service Work?
A Library volunteer will contact you to find out your reading preferences. They will select library materials based on your preferences, and library volunteers will deliver the library materials to your home in a special canvas delivery bag once a month.
Who May Receive This Service?
Homebound seniors, children and other adults who are unable to use the library due to temporary or long-term physical disabilities may use the service. For those with medical conditions, doctor verification may be required.
