The primary function of our cadets is to perform some of the tasks that would normally be handled by full-time police officers, allowing that officer to spend more time in the field where he or she is visible. Cadets perform various duties including, but not limited to:

assisting the public at the front counter;

receiving requests for service and information;

data entry and searching on various computer systems;

writing reports;

filing;
-
enforcing parking ordinances and vehicle codes;

and performing other related duties as required.
