| Donations: |
The South Pasadena Public Library accepts donations of books and other library materials. All donations will be evaluated in accordance with the library’s materials selection policy. Items that are added to the collection become the sole property of the South Pasadena Public Library and we will determine the use, display, access and disposition of the items. Materials that are not added to the Library collection will be offered to the Friends of the South Pasadena Public Library for sale in the Friends Bookstore. |
| Gifts & Memorials: |
The South Pasadena Public Library is pleased to accept monetary donations including those in memory or in honor of individuals. These funds will be used to purchase books or other library materials in subject areas specified by the donor. All donations will be acknowledged and are tax deductible. Where appropriate, both the donor and family (or honoree) will receive acknowledgement cards or letters. In the case of books, a special gift plate recognizing the honoree will be placed in the front of the book or books purchased. Bequests from individuals or the estate of an individual that support the Library building or particular functions in the Library are gratefully accepted and the Library will direct the funds to uses as instructed by the bequest or estate. |
