SR-710 TUNNEL GEOTECHNICAL STUDY
Caltrans and Metro initiated the “SR-710 Tunnel Geotechnical Study” in July of 2008.  The City is participating in the Study with representatives on the Steering Committee and the Technical Advisory Committee.  Councilmember Philip Putnam serves as the City's representative on the Steering Committee and resident Mr. Richard Gutschow, a Registered Geotechnical Engineer, serves as the City's representative on the Technical Advisory Committee.

Caltrans held a joint first meeting of the Steering Committee and the Technical Advisory Committee for the SR-710 Tunnel Technical Study on Tuesday, July 15, 2008, at Salazar Hall on the campus of California State University - Los Angeles.
