MASS TRANSIT
If you're looking for relief from Southern California's notorious traffic congestion, South Pasadena has several mass transit options for you to consider.
The Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (Metro) offers light rail service to South Pasadena with a Gold Line station located at Mission Street and Meridian Avenue.
Park-and-Ride lots and other parking options for patrons of the Gold Line.
The City of South Pasadena's Gold Link Community Transit provides a free shuttle bus service from all over the city to the Gold Line's Mission Station on weekdays during morning and evening commute hours.
Metro operates buses that can take you throughout Los Angeles County.
The City's Community Services Department provides disabled and senior residents with low-cost point-to-point shuttle bus service to city destinations and nearby medical facilities
Access Services is committed to improving the mobility on public transit of persons with disabilities, and coordinating transportation programs of the various social service providers in the county.
Although various taxi companies provide service to South Pasadena, none are licensed by the City. Check the local phone listings.
